Erik Arendholz (28) has been working at Aviko since last year as a potato buyer for the production site in Stavenhagen, Germany. Based in the Prignitz region, he is in daily contact with growers and ensures that the factory is continuously supplied with potatoes.
This harvest year, we are seeing higher susceptibility to bruising and more pressure damage, with a direct impact on processing. By loading 24/7, we are shortening the chain time, which clearly contributes to improved quality.
